I went to switch my iPhone from the new 3G to the old one just for a day but I inserted the SIM - it said to connect to itunes so I did but it wanted another contract. Why can't you switch between the two? Is there a way around this?😡

If you bought the iPhone at a subsidized price it requires a contract. If you bought it from somewhere else besides Apple/AT&T then you don't have to sign up for any contract.

I bought the 3G from AT&T website... the original I bought from ebay but signed a contract when I activated it. I am just afraid I am going to screw it up and lose all my contacts and everything when I want to switch back.
