Switching from camera to video = zoom?

When you switch to video mode why does everything appear closer (zoomed)?

I think the aspect ratio of the recorded video is wider than the actual screen, so instead of black bars, you're zoomed in a little.

Double tap the screen. It will reflect the actual aspect ratio, but it will be letterboxed.
