Hi,

is there anybody who switched from iPad mini to iPhone Plus? Or somebody who owns an iPad mini and iPhone 6/6S Plus and could share his/hers experience?

I would like to buy an iPhone 6S Plus and sell my Mini 4.

I may not be the best person for this, since I never found a whole lot of reasons to use the mini, but I haven't touched it for over a year since I've had the 6 plus.

It really depends on what you're doing with your device though, I think. If you're consuming a lot of media in sure the mini will be preferred due to screen size. For everything else, my 6s plus (previously 6 plus) is more portably and, of course, faster (I have the gen 1 mini)

Stopped using the Mini too. I like the Mini and was so excited when it first came out, but the 6 Plus line does everything I need now -- and it goes everywhere with me. That said, I don't watch a lot of video on my devices (I save that for the iMac), but even the occasional Youtube video or news report is really nice on the 6 Plus.

I use my 6S Plus when I'm out and about, and my iPad Air when I'm home. I don't think I could do without either one of these.

I use both my 6S Plus and my mini 4. Both have its uses. Out and about I use my 6S Plus and at home mainly on my iPad mini 4.

Thank you for all your responses. I'll probably stick with the current setting (5S,Watch,Mini 4). The thing is I don't want to keep in mind about charging all those devices. And with the notebook it is 4 to charge. I'll probably sell the Watch and 5S and try 6S Plus with mini for a few weeks. Damn, I like the Watch!

I think that the best combination is 6s Plus + Air 1/2. What's the point to carry an iPad Mini + small iPhone like 5s or 6s if you can combine two devices in one?

I've seen some pretty nice docking solutions that were either iPhone and watch or iPad and watch compatible. The watch is the product that hasn't been compelling enough for
Me. My wife loves it because she can get discreet notifications at work. aside from that she says she wouldn't care about it either. $350 for her to get discreet notifications. Ugh. Lol.

I use my plus, Mini 4 and air 2 for different things

Mini 4 for out and about, at GF house, at work and use it mainly for web browsing. Plus for general tasks.

So yes I use all my devices quite evenly really.
