Can’t believe USA is still so expensive.

In India:

Jio charges USD 3 per month for - Unlimited calls and text. And 25 GB 4G data and then 30 US cents per GB of additional data.

My Airtel plan costs me USD 14 or so per month for a total of 3 lines. All with unlimited calls and text. Total 60 GB 4G data. Handset insurance for one device. And many other perks. And ya, including Free Amazon Prime Subscription.

If switching I recommend getting one of those $50 Verizon MIFI devices from Walmart to cover you in locations with poor AT&T coverage. I have a Verizon MIFI and the cheapest prepaid options are $20 for 1GB per month or $15 for 500MB per week but the cheapest post paid plan option is $15 per month for 1GB but it would require $30 activation fee.

[doublepost=1526846102][/doublepost]Anyhow no one has interest in T-Mobile or Sprint?

T-Mobile I heard the price is exactly what the plans say.
Not 100% sure on Sprint but it is also the cheapest.

It depends on the area. They are six of one, half a dozen of another. If you want AT&T, buy an Unlocked iPhone from Apple, so you get a Qualcomm modem, and put an AT&T SIM in it.

Don't be fooled by device promotions- look at the longer term costs, and the devices are drops in the bucket. If you can save a lot monthly with AT&T and they are good in your area, the go for it.

Personally, I would keep the 6s until the new iPhones come out with B14 and 4x4 MIMO in the fall.

Location, location, location.

Sprint has practically no signal where I work. Same for T-Mobile at this time but they got rewarded the mobile contract for my employer and they went surveying for signal in the different offices in order to improve coverage so that should be changing in a year or so. Honestly though, we're grandfathered in to a pretty decent AT&T shared data plan. I'll need to see what the new employee discounts are with T-Mobile before considering switching.

You need to check prices. See back in November when I switched from Verizon to AT&T it was a decent deal that’s when AT&T had $20 per line. Now it’s $30 per line. So AT&T might be even higher then what your paying with Verizon. Might check into that.

Well in all fairness, its $30 per line because the base plan dropped in price, and each line gets 5GB more of tethering. Also, the autopay discount doubled from $10 per month to $20. So a family of 3 is paying $5 more a month total, and each line now gets 15GB of tethering instead of 10gb. If my family needed more than 10GB a month of tethering, we would definitely switch over for only $5 more a month.

Its not like you are getting less for being more expensive.

I loved T-Mo, best customer service Tuesdays felt like xmas with tmobile tuesday, unlimited everything for super cheap. Too bad coverage is god awful in all of WI for me :(

had to go to ATT, so far so good, just a bit more expensive, but I do love the free HBO and kickback on my DTV now service, which basically brings it down to what i paid on TMobile.

Sprint on the other hand, had them for 10 horrible years hoping they would get better, awful coverage (within 1% of VzN my a$$....) awful customer service and awful promotions.

Currently have T-Mobile $10/5GB data pass on one iPad. Surprisingly, it's got Binge On. Quite enjoyed streaming video on it while at the clinic waiting for my doctor's appointment, lab and pharmacy.

Yeah that is good to hear. I might consider them. I gave sprint a look due to seeing a person or 2 I know having them. I also saw that the prices are super cheap but they do increase after a year. Seems paying I think it was $100 a month for 3 lines with the cost saving in the first year seemed like a good finical decision. Only issue is if the service doesn't work then it is no point in paying for anything.

Besides being lied to by AT&T reps, I have had zero problems with AT&T. Have been with them since they were AT&T, then Cingular, then back to AT&T. Over 15+ years. Service is fast and reliable. Anytime I have an outage I contact AT&T and its back up and running within 72 hours. My bill never varies. Its spot on to the penny every single month.

Yes you are right they can't be trusted they lie all the time but other way its working good also my price per month is good for them $230
