So now I have broken macbook pro with A1278 logic board, which I will have to replace. It is june 2009 with i5. Could I replace it with logic board with i7? If yes which one? Is it possible?
 
i5/i7 wasn't released until 2010... so no.

Honestly, if you need more computing power and your at the point of replacing logic boards for such an old computer your probably better off putting that money towards a new Mac.
