Switching months in the calendar app?

Is there anyway to switch to a previous or next month in the calendar app? I can switch to month view without an issue but I can't seem to figure out how to switch it to next or previous month!

While we're talking about the calendar app...is there a way to switch the day you're viewing the events for? I can only seem to view the current days event timeline.

It seems a bit pointless being able to go to a full month view if you can't then zoom into a different day to view the events on that day.

If I view the current day, I can scroll to about maybe a week into the future and that is it.

The only option if found was to Force Touch in the cal app and then change to "list". You then have an overview, but I don't know of how much days in the future.

Any beta users of wOS2 who can tell if Apple's deemed their pretty danged rotten calendar app worthy of any upgrades? Not being able to switch between months on the month view in the current software, or even between different dates, is quite the disappointment, really. It makes the calendar fiddly and difficult to use, if not altogether impossible if the event you want to check lies in the next month as is especially often the case when you are closing in on the end of the current month, like is happening right now for example...

No changes as of beta 4, which would suggest no changes are going to be made if they haven't surfaced by now but fingers crossed .

I'm using 'pocketlife', can't wait for third party complications to be usable.

You can view different days by showing the calendar for today then swiping left or right to move a day forward / backward like you would on the phone, if that at least helps a little. You only seem able to view one week in either direction.

Yes, thank you, this was mentioned elsewhere in the thread already. Unfortunately, the method of swipe-swipe-swiping one day at a time quickly gets tedious, and also it doesn't help you at all if you need to move more than seven days ahead (or back)...
