Hello,

I have an Iphone 12 mini that is factory unlocked. I have been using it on Total Wireless, a Verizon reseller.

I got an old android phone from work, with ATT sim, recently I put that ATT sim in my old Iphone X and it made work easier. Now that I successfully made this transition, I would like to move physical ATT sim to Iphone 12 since I don't want to carry two phones and work sim does not have internet. Here my questions as I am an e-sim newbie.

Do I need to contact Verizon directly at any point or Total Wireless should be capable of transferring service to esim?

My Total Wireless service has visual voicemail but ATT sim provides only regular voicemail, will it be a problem after combing two services on Iphone 12? Should I call ATT to flip switch to visual voicemail just in case? Thanks!

I don't believe that Total Wireless supports eSIM. You may need to use AT&T on the eSIM and Total Wireless as your physical SIM. AT&T customer service should be able to help you switch the service to the eSIM and your visual voicemail.

I will probably need to ask my work for password for that line to transfer it to esim? If not I suppose I can just return that att phone to work and will make a new google voice number that will be local for my work.
