I'm switching from Verizon to AT&T. Will I be required to go into the store to activate my phone or can I just order it online and do it all at home?

I did the same thing a few months ago and went into the Apple store to do it all. IMO it's much easier to do it that way, as the Apple people do most of the work for you, including porting over your existing number. The only thing I had to do in the store was call Verizon and cancel my account. :)

Will they be able to port over your phone book from a Verizon dumbphone to an iPhone?

All my contacts are synced on my computer so I'm not worried about that. More so worried about the port going through fine.
