On the morning train in Zurich a lady expressed "Apple watch woow!"

Her male companion was initially less impressed but after looking at the photos on the paper found a style he liked and said "Hmmm das ist intressant".

Two out of 7.5 million? Yep, that's a representative sample alright!

It seems to me they saw the watch for the first time without thinking about battery life or obsolescence.

Local newspapers enthusiastically emphasize that their glorious country's role in the world is going to become even more powerful, with the advent of revolutionary watches.

I had thought that was a silly comment for Ive to make. The only people I know who are interested are my wife (a health freak, she wants health monitoring) and one guy at work. Otherwise its tepid at best.

I increased the sample size at work by approximately 3. Unfortunately the tide turned and 100% of them were indifferent. Something alongn he lines of "I don't give a ****" and "I don't want digital crap on my wrist".

Well US stocks of watchmakers went down after the announcement, wonder how stocks of Swiss watchmakers performed today?
