This really for any Apple product but...

Can you get a symbol engraved onto your iPad? My friend wants to put the Apple symbol 🙂apple🙂 onto it. Can you only put letters and numbers on it?

I think you can test it out on Apple.com. Add an iPad to your cart and add engraving as an option (2nd screen, first you select the options):

Only letters and numbers. Lucky there is an apple symbol on the back of nearly every product.
