I currently have iPassword installed on all my iDevices, with the content (passwords, accounts, etc) only on the iTouch. I know that using Dropbox you can somehow sync the info from one device to another, but I never quite figured out how to do that. Is there a way, that anyone is aware of, that I can do this over WiFi Sync w/the new iOS5 and what would be the steps involved (it's not automatic, otherwise all my info would be on my iPhone by now).

    Appreciate any assistance!

Not sure about sync because that uses the desktop client so if you do not have that I do not think they will sync with each other. But if you just wanted the data maybe you can back up one device to dropbox and then restore that back up to the second?

if it is on your computer you can wireless sync them. but to use dropbox you just put your dropbox email address and password into the appropriate place in setting in 1password and you are done.

I do this already. 1password has an App, which can sync via dropbox.

You can use Dropbox sync only by using $50 desktop app. If you are looking for a loophole, download 30-day trial version and enable Dropbox sync using the app. Then you should be able to sync both iPhone and iPad via Dropbox.

THis is only true for the desktop version of 1Password. I own the iPhone app and it syncs all my info to dropbox perfectly.

I believe I have the universal app (1Password) and I am positive you can do it without paying additional money for the desktop version, just as you have stated above. Can you guide me on the steps? I have never even used Dropbox, although I have an account.

Open 1Password and go to Settings. From Settings, go to Sync and select Dropbox. If you haven't used it before, it will have you log in with your DB account. Once you log in, 1Pass will sync your data to Dropbox. Then on the other device, do the same but this time select sync and it will pull your info from Dropbox.

I have the iOS version only - no desktop version - and when I try to use the Dropbox to sync it says it failed every time and says make sure I sync the desktop version first.

Don't know if you've tackled this, but I inadvertently was able to get my 1-Password data onto my iPhone. When I updated to iOS5.1 OTA, my phone went into recovery mode. I had to restore the phone entirely; I backed it up from my iTouch since I have all the same apps on the iTouch as the iPhone, well, pretty much, anyway. To surprise and delight, when I opened 1Password on my iPhone, all data had backed up. So, by this same logic, if all your iOS devices have the same apps, back up your iPhone to the device that holds the 1Password, then go back and rename it again to iPhone.

Hopefully, I've explained this ok and it'll work for you!
