iPod touch Sync apps without deleting?

I use two computers, work and home, with my touch. I downloaded some apps at home, and after browsing at work, I'd like to put some more on. However, when I go to sync, it warns me that my other apps will be deleted. Is there any way around this?

i heard we can use up to 5 different computer w/o deleting ...well seems like it didnt work for you..
