I am looking for an application to sync encrypted text, or securely sync (and not store) text, between an iPhone and a Mac.

I have been using evernote for my 2 part password system (storing parts in evernote); however, I have become increasingly more aware of privacy, and have come to the conclusion that this is insecure.

Thank you for your recommendations.

I don't have a recommendation for you, but the odds of encryption actually mattering in your situation are slim to none. Any information you want to encrypt is either 1) held or transmitted elsewhere by insecure methods or 2) inconsequential even if it was unencrypted.

I just want to be able to sync a text file (encrypted, used for my password system) between my iPad, Mac, and iPhone. I don't want to use one of those overhyped, overfeatured, unnecessary password managers like 1Password or mSecure (or the lot of them).

I have been syncing everything in plain text, through a popular storage and sync tool for text, and I am unsatisfied with the lack of security.
