Sync Faces Across iOS 10 Devices?

Is there any way to sync faces across iOS 10 devices? I've tagged tons of photos on my iPhone but there aren't syncing to my iPad!

Same thing happens to mine... I dont think they have implemented such thing... A pity really!

I've done it on Sierra but they aren't synced to my devices neither.

Faces currently don't sync between devices.

However, 9to5Mac writes:
"Apple has hinted that Faces may sync in future software versions."

It is supposed to be coming in the future. The issue is, face detection is done on the device by the device. I'm sure they have a way to share that info securely but its not available yet.

This is part of Apple's privacy initiative. Was discussed at WWDC that it would be on a device by device basis for now, as @jetho indicates.
