Sync High Res Photos

I have some high-res (33mp) - around 7000px photos I want on my new iPad 3.

Tried syncing them but iTunes have resized it.

Any ideas how to get the full res on my iPad?

Oh and it's not syncing all the photos either!

think the max is 19mp. I cant even get any pictures to sync to the iphoto app through itunes 🙁
