sync IE10 and Android Chrome?

I've got a tall order, trying to sync my note 2 with my windows tablet. So desktop IE10 and android Chrome, I like both of them a lot on each respective platform and would like to avoid switching.

I'm aware of Xmarks but I am too cheap to pay a monthly fee.

Hmm...could you use like Google's toolbar on IE? (Although that probably doesn't work in Metro mode?)
