Hi there, I have something to ask about syncing iphone...

I have an iMac and a macbook, and a iphone 3g.

I didn't know why but I setup my iphone with my iMac when I first got it like 1 year ago, and I got my backup, sync my videos, music all with my iMac.

And now I'm going to sell my iMac, and keep my macbook with me. Now i'm facing a very big problem...

How am I able to sync from my macbook in the future after I sold my iMac?
How am I able to keep all the apps, musics and videos in my iphone now, or even transfer them to my macbook?

I'm really confused as now when I look into my itune on my macbook, it seems like if I click on sync or whatever, my iphone will be reformat to the factory mode, all the apps, musics, videos, all gone...

Need help badly, hope someone can give me some advise.

Thanks in advanced.

hi just checking can anyone help me here 🙁

I would use the migration assistant. I think (not infront of my mac) its on the setup disk. You can then move all your personal files including itunes/iphone stuff.
