Hey everyone,

I'm planning a backpacking trip through Europe in a month, and I'm trying to see if I can make due without carrying a laptop with me.

I have an iPhone 3G 8GB that would do the trick, if it weren't for it's limited storage.

I'll have access to computers whether at internet cafés or hostels though.

I know you can store the iTunes database and library on an external drive... the next step would be if that remote location were a share on a different computer?

Basically, I want to know if I can setup my NAS with a share accessible through the internet, and then setup a borrowed computer's iTunes to use that location for it's library. And then sync my iPhone with it.

thanks for the help.
