Hi

i will try keep this as short as possible so i can get a better answear.

Im going to Australia next week and im worried about how to sync it up to the computer over there.
Do i simply just plug it in and it sync's or do i somehow need to create a new computer account and then have a empty itunes ? if so how do i do that.

my main fear is i sync it to the computer over there and li lose everything i have on my iphone.

Syncing your device will make it mirror what is on the computer that you are syncing it with. You should check the "manually manage music and videos" box in the iPhone tab. And then you can get content from any computer that you want.

Where is this tab you speak of ? Are you saying if I sync to a new one are lose everything ?

It seems to me I may need a USB stuck for this ? But would that save my apps ?

My aim is to use my iphone in australia.

All i want todo is to be able to sync it up there without lossing anything.
is it possible ?

i cant make sence of that.

"manually manage music and videos" box in the iPhone tab -- whats that ?

i know how to-do that manually but dont see that making sence to my question

Its the only way to add new media without loosing what is already on the iPhone/iPod.

so theres no way round it ?
could i not just sync up the iphone for 7 months ?

its a pain as wanted 3.0
