sync issues iOS 8 and iTunes 11.4

has anyone seen any sync issues after doing a clean install of iOS 8 using iTunes 11.4 on os x mavericks?

the issue i have been having is where it will not sync all of my music, photos, apps (only about half of them sync) and then i have to hit the sync button again and it will finish.
