Sync OSX contacts <> Google

I have 10.11 loaded with contacts, also have google (contacts) how to sync them?

Iphone 6+ and OSX works like a charm
 
just go into; system preferences>internet accounts. I there you can add your google credentials and choose what to sync, including contacts
