Does anyone know if this is possible? I thought it would be, but it doesn't work. I downloaded dropbox and set the Windows iCloud client to save the photos to the dropbox directory, but it said that it was not a supported file type (or something like that).

Does anyone know how to sync photostream directly to dropbox?

b/c I cannot get the dropbox app on my phone (don't ask lol, its just not possible), so I was looking for other ways.

Unless you mean configure it on my pc so that photos from the photostream folder automatically upload to the dropbox folder, which would be fine for what I wanna do, I just don't know how to configure it that way

Not sure if this helps, but I have Dropbox photo auto-upload setup on my wife's 5s and my Note 3. I then have a script running on Automator on my iMac that automatically puts those photos into iPhoto and adds them to my Photostream. The reason I go that route even on the wife's 5s is that videos are uploaded, also.

So I sync Dropbox to Photostream but not the reverse. I would imagine the same type of trick would work both ways if you have a Mac running iPhoto and have Dropbox Camera uploads synced to it.

Here is the link: Use Dropbox and Automator to automatically import photos

So like I said, maybe you can reverse the process and get your Photostream photos over to Dropbox.
