sync server not working

im getting constant messages that i need to sync my m.b. i tell it to merge all data and then i get a message saying the sync server has crashed. so i went into pref. and mobile me, then sync. and it wont go to the sync screen. it says the sync server is unavailable. what the heck is going on here?

Try signing out then back in to MM...
