I have been researching all the day to figure out the best way to sync between multiple mac's via my own NAS server.:)

I have my own NAS server setup at home which I can access via ssh from outside network. I wanted to have all my mac (2xmacbook pro, 1 mac pro) synced instantly with the same content. At the moment I use dropbox for this purposed, as my sync data exceeds more than 150 GB and I want to setup my own sync service.

I found few apps like GoodSync, folderwatch, Synk (doesn't work on network mounted drive) and also linux based lipsync, GlusterFS. None seem to be great solution like Dropbox. I haven't tried them all. I'm a regular user of rsync but again setting up folder action along with some rsync script also doesn't work.

It'll be great if you can suggest me a good solution for the automated sync.:D

Cubby is the solution for now

I found a better solution myself. Cubby is the one that I want, it does the sync across computers over internet (peer2peer) and also does the same job as dropbox with 5 Gb free account.

What's great about Cubby is the sync between multiple computers.:)

At the moment you need invitation to get into Cubby.com, I have four invites left, if any of you interested then pm your email id.
