Hi folks

I've just found out the hard way that neither of my macs has a USB2 port - I have a new iPhone (3GS) which I can't sync. Just wondering if there are any other options out there?

I've read about a Wifi Sych app, but which needs the phone to be jailbroken. Anyone know if that's any good? Is jailbreaking easy/safe/going to invalidate my warranty? Are there any other options?

Things I want to sync are:
- music from Powerbook to iPhone
- photos from iPhone to powerbook
- contacts and calendars between the two

Cheers
GR

Have you actually tried syncing with a usb1 port?

My setup has USB1 run to my iPhone 3g and it works fine (just slower). It's USB1, because I have a long USB cable run to put my iPhone near my front door for quick grabbing on my way out. At the time, I could only get USB1 extension for this setup.

Yeah, that's when I figured out I had a problem. when I plugged it in, the computer didn't register it was there and the phone didn't charge
