I have, and use four mac computers. I also use an iPhone 6 that was recently broken and will be replaced by a 7 tomorrow. I have a pretty good back-up regimen for my working files and I do my best to keep all files synced between all computers, but I do it manually. Believe it or not I’m fairly efficient at this sync/back-up regimen but that’s only because I have the workflow down pat, and I’m familiar with it. It’s a pain in the ass and I'm missing out on some pretty powerful features!! That pisses me off! I am wholly aware that all devices can be synchronized through the cloud. I’m also aware that, conceptually, handoff would be fabulous for me. Problem? My work precludes me from using the cloud..as in, no way-no how says me, the owner. Can I set my devices up to take advantage of the aforementioned features through a local network that I can button up tight such as an AP Extreme or something similar?
