I made a backup of my iphone 3G this morning. I activated and synced my iPhone 4 just now. But not all of the apps from my iphone 3G synced onto the 4. did I miss something somewhere? or are only iPhone4-compatible apps currently able to sync from iphone 3 to 4?

thanks

same question

Very few of my apps synced to my new iPhone.

They all have grayed out "A" icons that don't have the actual app icons. See attached.

I can't seem to get them onto the new iPhone 4.

Any suggestions?

I tried right clicking the iPhone icon on the left and hitting "Transfer Purchases", and also tried Reset Warnings.
No luck.

Same thing happen to me?

I went to the att store to see if they could transfer my apps and they said, "no we don't have iTunes 9.2 installed yet." 😕

Is your itunes upgraded to 9.2 and your boxes all checked? My apps didn't sync the first time I synced the phone, but after I activated the phone and returned home after work I went to the App tab and checked which ones I wanted and they all synced fine.
