Mac book pro due to arrive tomorrow. I normally keep all my work on my iMac and am used to having only one computer. Is there any easy way to keep files syncy'd between two macs.. dropbox seems the best solution I've found so far.

Also, I know there is the 'find my iPhone/mac' app, but a while back i remember reading about a much more indepth tracking / anti theft app, but didn't note the name.. anyone got any recommendations ?

thanks

I think you will find most users here are very happy with the Dropbox solution. If you are only using Apple apps on like Pages and Numbers on both OS X and iOS, you can sync docs with iCloud.

Was it Prey you were thinking of for theft recovery?

ah nope, it wasn't... the one i saw definitely wasn't open source. That looks good thanks

Im a video editor so use tons of large files, but icloud syncing does sound handy, quite expensive for what it is though
