Syncing contacts FROM iPhone TO macbook?

Should I be choosing the from computer to mobile me option or vise versa?

But surely im pushing the contacts from mobile me to my computer

I'm not sure what you are asking? MM syncs both ways. If you update a contact on your iPhone it will push the update to your Macbook. Similarly, an updated contact on the Macbook will push to the iPhone.

What I want to do is get the contacts from my
phone and put them on my MacBook.

I do not want to choose the wrong option and have my iPhone contacts replaced by the contacts I have on my MacBook.

It should ask to merge or replace contacts.
