Hello. I could use some help. I have several audio files for tracks which each last about 79 minutes. When I sync those across to my iPhone 5 music app the track shrink to less than 5 minutes! I am puzzled.

What is doing on here?
How can I transfer the whole file?

Screenshots of each iOS (Music app) and Mac OS (iTunes) attached.
I hope you can help unravel. Happy to provide more information on an as needed basis.

I look forward to hearing from you!
Cheers
Neil

copy those songs from itunes, and delete them and re add them back, to make sure that the files are actually on the hard disk. I've had problems where the files were missing and itunes has no idea until the song is actually played

de sync all music and sync again

make sure 128kbps isn't checked

have you thought about getting itunes match??? its only $25 a year and you can trade in your mp3s for itunes copies haha, is 79 minutes too long for itunes match? i forgot

I'm stuck, i don't know what else to do. call applecare. anything itunes related doesn't need an applecare plan, you can ask for an exemption

maybe the itunes library needs to be rebuilt
Move the iTunes Library.xml or iTunes Music Library.xml file to your Desktop or to another folder. You'll be using this file to rebuild the library. 5. Delete the iTunes Library or iTunes Library.itl file by moving it to the Trash or Recycle Bin'

Thanks a lot! I will try each of your solution. I also emailed Kirk. I'll pass on iTunes match.
