Good morning all.

I had a friend purchase and new Surface Pro with a Snapdragon processor and when we install iCloud to sync his Contacts and Calendars with Outlook the option to do so is missing. I have tried downloading iCloud from Apple directly, from he Windows Store and using Winget. All three do the same thing. The COM-add in shows in Outlook after the install, but not in the iCloud program itself. Does anyone have a fix for this and if not, what is the best way to make this work? Will we need to export all the data and import it manually somehow? I appreciate any help on this one.

Update: After a lot of testing, we sent the laptop back and got an Intel based one. iCloud will not sync contacts or calendars with Outlook or Outlook Classic on an ARM based Windows machine. I tried every combination I could think of before finally giving up.

On a side note, Windows is super laggy when clicking on things on those Snapdragon Surface Pros. I tried multiple installs of Windows, usb mouse and keyboards, surface keyboard. Just a lot of clicking and waiting for things to respond.

Once we got an intel based Surface Pro everything worked as it should have.
