iPod Syncing ipod nano with itunes/windows 10

On my new laptop I've setup itunes with my music and podcasts. When I plug the nano into the laptop everything updates except for the current day's podcast segments. This happens on a daily basis. I should mention that I'm still using my old laptop until I can resolve this issue (could this be an issue?). I've tried authorizing the computer. Thanks in advance...
