Hello all,
I just got a iMac 21.5" ! I am loving in, its definitely a better switch from my old 2002 Sony XP :p.
But I got a question. I am about to update my current iPod (iPod touch 4th gen ), from my Mac, which hasnt synced with my current iTunes. I have managed to get my songs and movies on my Mac, but the pictures + videos I have taken have not. How do I transfer them over to my Mac? I plugged it , but there was no option to select the iPod as a hard drive (which in XP, it did).
Does anyone know what I should/can do?

Thanks,

Eden.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure when an iPod touch is connected to a PC it shows up under My Computer only as a camera, not as an actual portable drive. The iPod touch is the one iPod model which, like the iPhone, Apple does not allow you to use as a portable drive. This means that the photos will be deleted if you fully sync to your new Mac. What you will have to do is save all your photos from your PC to a USB drive then put them into the Pictures folder on your Mac (iPhoto will pick up your iPod as being a camera, but even then the only things you will be able to transfer are photos taken by the iPod itself - not photo albums you have synced from your other computer).
