I am having a hard time syncing music to my new Apple Watch. I have a playlist selected and the watch takes a while to sync. When I go into music that is on my Apple Watch I can see the playlist I selected, but only 1 out of the 43 songs is actually on the device. However when I go to settings, there appears to be 500mbish of music on my watch. The watch is supposed to allow 2gb of music as that is my setting. Any ideas?? I have tried different playlists and some allow a few more songs, but never the whole playlist.
Thanks!

How long are you leaving it on the charger puck? It may take a couple or more hours after the :apple:Watch has reached 50% (I believe).

I have tried a few hours and even over night. Same result both times.

I had the same problem. You have to have your Apple Watch on the charger while syncing. Depending on how much music, it will take maybe 30 minutes. Hope this helps.

Yea, I have let it sit for hours and the same result happens. The phone shows the sync as complete, the music section under usage shows 500mb, but under about it says 1 song... I think the music is actually on the watch, but not showing up correctly. I am an Apple Music subscriber and all of the songs are from Apple Music. My old Series 0 SS watch had no issues, but that was also with Watch OS 2.

I read a review somewhere that said Apple have acknowledged there is an issue with this.

Well, I unpaired my watch and repaired it. That got me to the Sync Pending, but couldn't get past that. After a bunch of restarts on the watch and phone it was able to successfully download to the watch! Looking forward to going on a run this afternoon with the watch GPS and Music!
