Hi all!

I have a 20" iMac aluminum and i recently got an iPhone!

Well i went into my Address Book -> Pref -> checked off Sync with Google and i put my log in info...

I also went into iTunes -> selected my iPhone -> Info tab -> Contacts section -> checked off Sync Google Contacts -> hit the Config button and put my google login info.

On the bottom right of iTunes I've hit the "Sync" button.

After doing all this, i have to assume that my contacts have sync'ed. But when i log onto gmail.com and check my contacts they're not sync'ed up!

What am i doing wrong?!?

Any help would be appreciated,
rudy

PS: I dont have a mobile me account, i dont know if this info helps or not...

No one?

I did do a further test. I deleted all my contacts from Gmail. When i re-sync them, it was still wrong! Didn't look like how i have it in Address Book!

What am i doing wrong?! Grrr...

I did notice that if add the sync icon to the menu bar (top right) and hit Sync Now, it actually forces a sync.

Also, i tried it to my Yahoo account, and after a sync it was totally blank....

*sigh*

There isn't a sync with Google in Address book prefs.
Just Yahoo, Mobile Me and Exchange.

I also use Google, I just sent my address book to Google via
address to Google (a to g) not synced but I don't change it much.

I haven't been too impressed with the built in services. I continue to use Spanning Sync, which you can try at:

http://spanningsync.com/

If you PM me, I can send you a referral for a $5 discount. A disclaimer though: if you get a referral from me, I get cash back.

But I do recommend the product even if you buy it on your own.
