Syncing Nike Run Club's 'My Coach' with Apple Watch

Hi,

I've just setup 'My Coach' on the Nike Run Club app on my iPhone.

I can't see a way to start a run from the 'My Coach' setup on the watch. It's only allowing me to start a normal run.

Does 'My Coach' not sync with the Apple Watch?

Also, if I were to start a run on my iPhone will it automatically start on my watch? (that might be a workaround if I can't start a 'My Coach' run directly from the watch).

Any ideas?

NRC is a terribly flawed app that has never worked consistently on any Apple Watch series, unfortunately.

Some have had luck with it. But many of us have not.

Will echo what @japanime said: nothing but grief of late with NRC. I stopped using it.

Have not used the coach feature, so a guess here, can maybe use the Shortcuts app and Automations. Setup an Automation of "when run started on watch, start NRC"?

From my experience, it does.

You cannot start a coach's workout from your Apple Watch.
