Syncing old Notes (Pre iOS4) to Gmail?

Hi,

The feature to sync notes with Gmail introduced in iOS4 is great...but...it is only syncing (backing up) notes added since the OS upgrade, is there a way to get all my old notes synced to Gmail as well!! I've got a lot and really don't want to have to key them all in again..

It may not be a great solution but what I did for the handful of notes I had was to cut the content from each and paste them into a new note in the Google note area and delete the old one. Not sure if there's a slicker way to do it for mass documents like you have but the investigation would have likely taken longer than it did to move the number of docs I had.
