iPod touch Syncing problem with movies

I converted one of my avi's to an m4v format file, but it won't sync to my iPod Touch. Any ideas on how to fix this?

try reencoding the avi to a mp4 instead. That should work.

An m4v is an mp4 so that's not why it's not working. How did you transcode it?

The iPods/iPhones are picky about how video is encoded. Use Handbrake to convert it using the Universal preset.
