SyncServer problems

    Lately and suddenly - after Installing 7.71 I keep getting:

    "SyncServer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

    I get this if I sync to the iPhone or to MobileMe. Running XP Pro.

    1.- I have repaired Outlook 2007.
    2.- Removed and Reinstalled iTunes
    3.- Tried a new profile in Outlook
    4.- Multiple reboots and repeats of reinstalling.
    5.- Have logged in and out of MobileMe

    It was working at some point and before if the error dialog appeared, closing it allowed the sync to complete.

    Not anymore. Any idea what to do?

    Chat support suggested that after I back up EVERYTHING, I remove (I renamed it just in case) the SyncServices folder.

    I found the folder at: c:\Documents & Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer

    This appears to have fixed the problem (so far a few synscs from Mobile me have worked)
