Apps Synology DS Video?

They went far enough to develop one for Roku, and already have the apps on iOS, I would assume they are developing one for tvOS.

I just hope they make it identical to the iOS app, in the sense that it will read from a Synology box that is not on the local network.

I Hope so too, even thought we have Plex, and I'm trying it... but I still didn't get 1080p from my mkv with it...

Oh yes, I would totally love having Synology's applications on the Apple TV. Been wishing for that since I've got my DS214 NAS. Use Plex for now (and totally love it), but I'd definitely prefer using apps specifically for Synology NAS devices.
