Hi Everyone

I have a easy question. In system accounts how do you delete the short name in the password screen, It's is grayed out. I'm asking this because I just got a used PB G3 laptop and can't change the computers name.

Not sitting in front of a Mac right now, but I think that it's in the Sharing Preference Pane. I'm assuming you are changing the computer's name, not a user's name, right?

Changing the short user name is rather dangerous IMO. But here's a script to help you do it: ChangeShortUsername. Good luck!
