System disk name changed???

Hi guys,

I could have sworn when i first booted up my mac (yesterday) the system disk (you know the icon in the top right of the desktop) was called something like "Mac...."
but tonight I've noticed it's changed to ®✝✝ (that's "Registered Trademark", "Crucifix", "Crucifix"... just incase those special characters are not rendered correctly on the post).

What have I cocked up to cause that to happen?

Huh, that's very strange. Try verifying the disk in Disk Utility.

You can rename a drive just like a file: select it and hit return. The default OS X startup drive name is "Macintosh HD", but I prefer something a little more original.

Ahh that will explain it: I found my self in the special characters tool after launching it by mistake last night... I bet I was also in edit-mode for the disk. I've still got my windows head on; expecting to press F2 to rename stuff 🙄
