That there big London
Hi there

Amongst my Login Items (in Acccounts in System Preferences) is an item called "System Events", which runs /System/Library/CoreServices/System Events.app. I am curious to know, what is it?

Probably being paranoid, but as a recent switcher from Windows, I am naturally wary of applications that start up automatically when I start my computer.

Thanks & regards

I believe that if you google it, I see some stuff about Apple script and Dev Tools. So if you have an Apple script running on start up, or possibly have Xcode doing something, then you should be fine. But I don't see anything about it being a trojan or spyware if that is what you are wondering.
