System folders appearing...?

On a fresh install of Leopard, many system folders (i.e. var, sbin, Volumes) are showing up in my Macintosh HD.

Should I do an Archive and Install?

This is on an 867 MHz 12" PowerBook G4, btw.

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to see those.

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to see those.

They're normally hidden, though.

I know that I can go find them if I want to, but normally they don't just show up in the Macintosh HD window, at least on any Mac I've ever used (quite a few).
