ingenious macrumors 68000 Original poster Sep 3, 2008 #1 On a fresh install of Leopard, many system folders (i.e. var, sbin, Volumes) are showing up in my Macintosh HD. Should I do an Archive and Install? This is on an 867 MHz 12" PowerBook G4, btw.

I know that I can go find them if I want to, but normally they don't just show up in the Macintosh HD window, at least on any Mac I've ever used (quite a few).
