com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[161] (com.lexmark.bmlaunchd): Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

I get this message every 30 seconds in the system log. I believe it has to do with the Lexmark button monitor (guess, its something to do with my printer)

This is really bugging me:confused:

What I would like to know if possible

1. Is this message normal
2. If not, can this be fixed

Thanks

Andy

Error in plist file?

Hi Andy,

I think the problem is in the /Library/LaunchAgents/com.lexmark.bmlaunchd.plist file.

I checked mine and it was using the deprecated in leopard (10.5) <OnDemand> element.
If you're running leopard or later try adding (after the <false/> for the onDemand key) the following lines and the then reboot.

<key>KeepAlive</key>
<false/>

Let me know if this helps.
