I have noticed at times when I go to system preference and click security the the lock on the bottom of the menu is unlocked. I relocked it several times, but it still unlocks by itself. I don't understand why it unlocks without entering a password. Does this happen to anyone else and if so do you know how to prevent it from unlocking?

I've never had this problem. All that I can think of is to make sure you have "Require password to unlock each System Preferences Pane" in Security. I don't know why that would happen to you though..
