System Preferences Badge Icon

System Preferences has the "1" badge, pointing to a "Reset Password. Use this Mac to reset your Apple ID password" warning under the iCloud tab. However, when I click continue, nothing happens. Any resolution on how to get rid of this annoying badge...? Thank you!

Could you upload a screenshot of this issue? It looks like your account may either be compromised or a password reset was triggered by someone.

Have you tried resetting your password at id.apple.com?

Yes - have reset, logged out of iCloud on the Mac, and then logged back in. Still nothing...

You'll want to talk to an Apple support representative at getsupport.apple.com then, it seems like a problem on Apple's side.

I believe it's related to not having 2FA enabled. I also have this badge and do not have 2FA enabled for my account, do you?
