System Preferences: iCloud and Mail, Contacts, and Calendars

With the arrival of iCloud and my recent update to the Mac's newest operating system, I have two new buttons under System Preferences. One is: iCloud and the other is Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Ok, great, fine, but they seem to both do the EXACT same thing, or am I missing something here? What's the difference here? Do you see what I mean?
