    Hi,

When I click on System Preferences from the Apple menu, nothing happens. As well, the problem is not being logged (so it seems there is not crash).

The System Preferences app is in Application folder and I can launch it when double clicked. I repaired permissions from OS X DVD. Ran IceClean (similar to Onyx). Restarted, etc... Nothing.

    Please help,

INFO : I have latest 10.5.6 with all updates.

    Solution ?!

    Hi again,

A solution that I found just now : Just download and reinstall the update to OS X 10.5.6. Once restarted it should work.

    For how long ? I don't know.
