I downloaded the new version of an app and it really screwed things up. I've owned my PowerBook for 3 years now but have never tried to do this. Does Tiger have some sort of system restore or something so I can go back and undo the update?

Obviously Leopard will be awesome with Time Machine but I'm concerned about right now...

I guess the Mac equivalent is an Archive & Install which restores the system files to their original state. However, there might be an easier way. What's the app and what has it done? If you create a new user account, do the problems carry over to there? :)
